Just roll me over, I'm cooking here...I felt ' off ' all day today and snuggled in two afghans all afternoon, finally waking at 3pm...awww, feel much better just like kitty.
Homemade Chicken Soup for supper...so easy. Cut up skinless, boneless breasts into chunks, cooked in water enough for a kettle of what you want...with carrots, onion, celery, peas, leftover lettuce all cut in bitesized pieces. Cook til done, adding chicken broth seasoning or start with the store-bought broth. At the very end, I add my own homegrown parsley, fresh or dried.
Quick, easy and soooo good, especially when you're just feeling a bit ' off '.
lettuce!???!! reallly? wow...now I have something to do with left over aging lettuce...... yours looked so good...... and I have been feeling a lot off lately ...I make my soup just about this same way..add garlic and thyme and sometimes dill....
Getting caught up over here. Hope you are as cozy as that cat.
