Guess who's flying in today for a visit?
yippee
good thing they missed this storm last night
A robin has built her nest at the end of a branch
that leans over the driveway
I watched her branch bounce and weave in the wind
and the rain pounding over her
Oh I was so worried
My husband thinks I worry over goofy things
she's a robin...she's been through this before
I am happy to say that mom and eggs
are doing fine this morning
....now to go shopping
ah it shows heart...
ReplyDeleteand have a blast with your littles...
Mother Nature is a clever craftswoman, her critters know how to hunker in.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time with your lucky grandkids, Suz. Snuggle them up!
xo
that’s not goofy, that’s plain necessary.
ReplyDeleteGlad your fears were groundless.
WOOOO HOOOO! The robin and her babes survived and now you get to enjoy your own little birdies!
ReplyDeleteSoak them in :)
Glad the wee things okay.
ReplyDeleteI hope it was a great visit -- and that Miz Robin and babies are well.
ReplyDeleteYou'll have been busy then! Hope mama is o'k in the trees, sometimes robins nest in the most precarious places!
ReplyDeleteOh! I can just picture that. Poor Mommy, so scared. And the family is in! That's where you've been!
ReplyDeleteThat is an awesome portrait. I love it!!
ReplyDeleteI love that about you Suz ;)
ReplyDeleteI guess we all do sometimes.
ReplyDeleteSuz, the smallest things you do reflect your heart, most truly.
