It is time
sweet kitty

Honeybun....she named you
....what her father used to call her

So deep is my sadness
...so short a life
...so short a time for you knowing my mother's love and need of you

This loss ....
dipping into her bank account of loss
for you
and suffering them all
all over again

Just a kitty
but oh so much more

We will be with you until the end
you are loved and cherished
Know that soft, furry one

    1. My mom loved her orange and white Honeybun
He died peacefully in a room filled with tears
      and hugging women
thank you Karen....we have shed our share of tears together, haven't we?

  6. Oh Suz, I'm so sorry... There's a well known saying... 'Death is never sad, if the gift of life has been well used'. While I know that Honeybun's life was 'well used' I am very, very sad for you and your family. I hope you find comfort in your memories and in knowing that your family will see her again one day...

  8. So sorry about Honeybun. There is no love like a pet, is there? So full of undemanding love.

  9. I am so sorry. Honeybun, what an adorable name. I love that the name originated as your mom's nickname and became her kitty's name. My mom had a Buffy, who looked a bit like Honeybun. Buffy and Mom are both gone now, but I am certain they have reunited and someday I'll see them both again. Honeybun must have known such a beautiful life while here. It's obvious she was much loved...

  10. Sorry Suz for the loss of Honeybun. They are with us such a short time. My mother used to say, 'oh why can't they live longer.....like we do.!" She was a pretty kitty your Honeybun, and very loved I'm sure.
