relief from winter

It's only flurries
but really

STOP

and to top things off, I'm not feeling well today

too much popcorn at the movie theater yesterday

BUT
the movie was excellent

Labor Day

based on the book by Joyce Maynard
which I have ordered
...something to look forward to
I want to see if the director's vision
matched the author's

For a few hours I was transported to New Hampshire
a sweltering weekend in 1987

ahhh...the power of a good story
and a wonderful filmmaker

let it snow

  5. That’s the only good thing about the weather all of us are enduring: there’s plenty of time to read or watch movies.

I am getting through my book piles like a knife through butter. Sadly, I am also getting through my piles of left over chocolates in double quick time.

Ah well, one day I will heave myself off the sofa and see the damage I’ve done. I shall blame the weather.

  6. I'm looking forward to seeing Labor Day. So glad you enjoyed it. I cannot go to the movies without getting popcorn. It goes hand in hand with the movie. I'm glad you enjoyed my Sammy Squirrel post! Take care!
