to do it with passion as if your life force will fade away if you don't
..Don't believe in baby steps....jump! I say!
But trust me, it is a lesson I need to learn over and over
It takes focus and trust and belief in yourself
It is a robe you wrap around your being.....you are what you want to be
and you will be...because you fall hard for yourself
and your desire for whatever it is that you wish to accomplish
do it with gusto or don't bother
do it with full intent and deliberateness
or it wont happen
love it....let yourself fall hard
Good morning!
ReplyDeleteI have lived by this lesson ...
To all the women of the world ~ live strong!

ReplyDeleteHow come I feel like you wrote this for me? Cuz I'm selfish perhaps. Hee hee. Believe it or not I did this with the motorcycle. Just have to apply it to the other stuff....once I find out what I want to be. :)

ReplyDeleteI have much to say about this wise, wise post, but my plan time is almost over and it's time to pick the class up from art. Before I do that, I wanted to invite you personally to join in a blog swap I am hosting. I think you would really enjoy it. Of course, I totally understand if that's not something you're interested in doing. Just wanted to let you know that I'd be thrilled if you would consider joining us. Sign up ends tomorrow. I hope the end of your week is marvelous.
ReplyDeleteI love this -- and it was something I needed to hear, Suz, wonderful stuff!
ReplyDeleteI liked this, and it is a good reminder for me, today. I have just returned from my trip to CA. Lots of new ideas, now where to begin....
ReplyDeleteHope you are doing well!
You haven't posted in awhile, everything ok??? HOpe you are doing well! Thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteSuz, a few days ago I saw a picture of a Western photographer taking a shot of a staving child in Africa. The caption said; "For Christ sake, give the kid a biscuit!"
ReplyDeleteYour poem brought that back... you are either in life or you are a spectator! Good stuff.
I guess that's what Nike means by "Just Do It"
ReplyDelete(But it can hurt to fall hard, especially if you jumped the wrong way! LOL!)
Nice One Shot, Suz!
