May love rise out of me
as a plant rises
each spring
out of death and debris
pushing aside obstacles
with ease
and determination
for it is life
it seeks through
the darkness
as a plant rises
each spring
out of death and debris
pushing aside obstacles
with ease
and determination
for it is life
it seeks through
the darkness
This is lovely. I'm reminded of the daylilies that someone gave us. She sent the bulbs to me last fall & we put them in the raised beds for the winter. When they started coming up last month I saw all this dead leaf material around them & tried to pull it away - but then I realized that it was the outer bulb (yes, I'm a bulb newbie). So a light went on & I realized that beauty was coming out of the ugly. Cool!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post. The plant doesn´t see obstacles it just reaches for the light.
