Sometimes sunshine is visible only in the morning
I saw it creeping through the shutters
falling across the room
it was a quiet sweetness
as I stood there
knowing this is a moment
a gift
a small wonder
of a new day
given me

Thank you for sharing this special moment.
ReplyDeleteMorning and late afternoon light is especially evocative. Love this post, Suz.
ReplyDeleteI'll take a bit sunshine whenever I can get it.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo.
Yes! And in the Northwest, where rain is supreme for so many months, brother sun is always a welcome guest. You really captured that magic first sight of it!
ReplyDeletesmiles. love that creeping sun shine...and the promise of new days...hey make the most of it...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! sometimes it's the moments that we usually don't give a second thought to that are the most meaningful. You remind us to have those second thoughts...

I love the sight of sunlight on the floor... And I'm enjoying your past posts ... especially the fox.
ReplyDeleteSunshine!
ReplyDeleteLove it.
We had temps in the 80s today.
Yummy!
It looks as if the both of us have been enjoying the morning sunshine. I have been sitting on my new porch each morning with my cup of tea and breakfast. What a great way to start a day. How did that saying go? A day without orange juice is like a day without sunshine? Yeah, that one!
