ReplyDeleteVery intriguing. I want to know more, like who was Peg?!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this one, Suz.
Nice one.
ReplyDeleteOoh, interesting! I think we may have been on the same wavelength this week!
ReplyDeleteI'm assuming that the speaker isn't Peg? Unless she IS Peg but the postcard wasn't from him?
ReplyDeleteTell us more!
So Joe picks it up and reads. My money is on that the wife has some fast talking to do! Gone for SF adventure today. My 140 is here
ReplyDeleteExcellent one.. I have a special love for this particular theme of yours due to personal reasons. It actually hurt me.. But Thank you for this one,,,
ReplyDeleteSince the postcard is very old, hoping the sentiment is too. And, he didn't send it, right?
ReplyDeleteThis makes me want to know more. :)
ReplyDeleteAw, very sweet.
ReplyDeletethe narrator is Peg
ReplyDeleteIt raises so many possibilities and so many interpretations. Very clever.
ReplyDeleteI does seem we were thinking of the same beginning. I guess it happens so often, you open a book, and an old slip of paper drops out. And sometimes it is a post card. That was fun.
