Wednesday Poem

Wednesday...another opportunity to post a poem
thanks to

There is a beat
and a rhythm full of
graceful movements
A symphony being
created, while
floating in darkness,
unaware
that someone
doesn't want music
and will soon
 silence
every
note

  5. Powerful statement you make through your words and accompanying image, Suz.

  6. One can only be silenced reading this. You expressed difficult subject matter beautifully.

  8. Interesting, now that I read this again, it can be taken two completely different ways. In my version, the newborn's loud cries silence every note, emerging from his muffled womb.

  9. Powerful words and image put together. Yet, take the powerful poem away from the image and it's got so many different meanings...and all of them end up heart-breaking.

  11. This is terribly heartbreaking for me. I am glad Willow saw two sides of this post.

Anyway, after reading this Suz, I feel mine to be very inadequate.

  13. I guess a title would have helped
as a title always adds to a poem
but I didn't..instead used the image

  22. Anyone would have to have a damned good reason for ejecting that CD before it played to the end! Good case for the 'morning after' pill!
