anyone

Anyone who has written a book
who has a fit and trim body
  who eats healthy
  who is an accomplished cook
anyone who is an artist
anyone who runs or walks everyday
anyone who teaches or learns
  who meditates
or quilts
anyone who does anything with skill
starts
It is as simple as that
start

  1. Absolutely. I posted this wonderful quote on my Facebook page this week.

I love all beginnings, despite their anxiousness and their uncertainty, which belong to every commencement. If I have earned a pleasure or a reward, or if I wish that something had not happened; if I doubt the worth of an experience and remain in my past--then I choose to begin at this very second.
Begin what? I begin. I have already thus begun a thousand lives.

    --Rainer Maria Rilke

  3. Great motivational post Suz, as the Taoists say *or is it the Buddhists?) "The journey of a thousand miles starts with the first step!"

  4. See, I was all ready to hate these people & then you just say "start."

That puts the ball back in my court, doesn't it? Sigh.

  11. Nice stuff, Sus (and Tess). Sometimes it is hard to get motivated to start but once you do, you wonder "why did it take me so long?" This would be a good word for 2011 too!
