  5. Dear Suz, thank you so much for your lovely comment to my post on loneliness, it's much appreciated.

I just scrolled back to your other blog and the cat post. Oh dear, how very sad, cats are meant to ramble, it is their nature to explore and have adventures. I can understand why you lock them inside the house but it grieves me to think of them being deprived of their natural way of life. I am so much more fortunate than you, no cars anywhere and the cats can go and hunt any time day or night.

Last, but certainly not least, this haiku has a very delicate footprint in spite of the mighty feet.

I spent a very cold day in the garden today and I am feeling too tired to be depressed. That's good.

  6. Friko, you dear, I used to let my kitties roam free. Mostly they would stay in the garden. But sadly some of them didn't throughout the years. I think the worst was when they didn't come home...ever. We had one poisoned and two attacked by dogs or coyotes. No more. We have a big house and two of them could care less...just feed, pet and pamper me. It's this little Boo that is crazy about watching birds. I have thought of getting a cat run like dogs have....
You know Friko, I know I would like your company very much.
You need a wench like me around to lead the way....
