What a sweet song and what a lush land. I love this. I also checked out the past 2 posts since I missed them. Life goes on, doesn't it?, in spite of turmoil, overindulgence and the floods and fires of daily living. God Bless You Suz
Hello Suz, I did write on my blog today, what I deleted yesterday. I thought I was to depressing is why I deleted it. I love that picture of the tree's. I am from the farm where I grew up and I think there is still some farm left in me. Even at 80, I swear if I had a pony, I would ride it even today.
What a beautiful picture! i want to curl up and take a nap under that tree and dream... I read your poem before I looked at the picture and I read it as "Midnight Mary" and thought it was a bar! What a dufus I can be. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love yours. Cenya
I just read the song words and I REMEMBER THAT SONG! Now to find out who sang it!!! And your tree photo reminds me of a photo I took in Iowa but doesn't have the "cattle paths" in it!
Is that a cattle path? huh..there was a bull standing not too far away...on the other side of the fence staring me down...in the rain..I love looking at cows..but boy are they noisey when they speak
Nice words to go with that photo.
ReplyDeleteIt actually looks like a park where Stacy and I used to hike.
Have a nice evening...
