I do. But I didn't always.
And from them I learned to be a listener.
Listening takes your mind off of yourself
Really listening unfolds petals of empathy
and compassion from your being
The world could use more listeners
Oh my...listening is so important. And, it can be so hard some of the time to really stop and listen. REALLY LISTEN. I work on that all the time because it is such a gift to give to friends.

I do have a friend who REALLY listens. Her name is Dogwood. I think she is the first person I ever felt truly listened to me.

my husband listens...but doesn't always hear!
