Guess that says it all! Always wanted my own crossing! What a fun post and I love your blue skies! Does look cold though! I do so appreciate your visit and comment. Hope your weekend has been great so far and that it gets better! Enjoy!Sylvia
Welcome Sylvia...a woman with an eye for humor ..like mine!
Catching up: Love the sign, love the snow sculpture, great story about the kitties, great to see you back to your happy creative self.
thanks Elena....I just cleared my camera! now there is room for more photos....
How nice, and a church not far behind...Does this mean Dunkin' Donuts can cross there?
Hehe I think it is so sweet!! It shows the town cares about the safety of their senior citizens :)
OK...where can I get one of those signs? Is it for real? Actually, it is a very good idea.
Try Mayor Daley..City of Chicago..Yes it's real...but it cracked me up..
I like it better than the signs we have -- near nursing homes we have crossing signs that don't feature the standard walking-man, but two extremely hunched stick-people with canes. The Chicago is MUCH better.I don't know how I'll feel about these signs in twenty years or so!!
Susan! Please! take a photo of those signs..share it with us!
Looks like a good story plot. Take off on it Sue! Maybe a mystery?
this made me smile wide. i had a man in the library the other day that did not want to pay for photocopies, he kept saying, "but I'm a senior citizen!!!"(yes I let him go without paying. he promised to come back and never did)
I wish you were my librarian
If you have landed in my tree..give me a chirp, fluff your feathers...drop... me a comment
