day of rest

 DH and I laid around all day watching TV. Party animals need their rest.
Those roses look so pretty I hate to post another thing. They look so much better then they did on the table last night....placed high above the table on a riser with no light coming through them. But today on my kitchen counter..light pouring through the window and their petals...so pretty. ..almost Mary like (hehe)
My daughter and her husband stopped by on their way home from the Illini game and I whipped up some italian sausage and peppers. An unexpected delightful afternoon. Her first wedding anniversay is on Saturday, so we celebrated early.
All that life ahead of them. Sweet
